after extraction, removal of over 90% of the alcohol and leaving less than 10% in the final product. This slow reduction concentrates the herbal compounds. way past usual tincture tactics, creating a smoother, more potent extract. What remains is a full-bodied herbal preparation that delivers results without excess alcohol. Alcohol is removed by heat replaced by glycerin and citric acid is added for formulas where herbs are more susceptible to high PH microbial growth. Glycerin is 50% or more of the tincture makes it a glycerite tincture which has a shelf life of years.
Each formula begins with the raw herb, freshly ground and gently moistened by hand using organic cane alcohol and reverse osmosis. Gravity guides a slow extraction that draws out the full range of active plant compounds. Once complete, it’s blended with organic coconut glycerin to balance the flavor and preserve the extract’s strength.
